Q. What is a transverse motif?
A. A cross street motif that can also be fixed to the front of a building with appropriate brackets (FIX01M).

Q. What is a pole-mount motif?
A. A pole-mount motif can be fixed on approved lamp columns or can be fixed to the front of a building with appropriate brackets (FIX01M).

Q. What are the minimum height restrictions for motifs?
A. A pole-mount motif must be 2.5m or higher and a transverse must be at least 5.8m high over normal roads or pedestrian areas, while abnormal load routes require transverse motifs to be a minimum of 7.5m high (from the bottom of the motif).

Q. What infrastructure would be required for a transverse motif?
A. For a cross street motif you will need tested fixings (an installer or local authority can text fixings), a power source, centenary wire and permission from the building owners.

Q. What infrastructure would be required for a pole-mount motif?
A. You will need approved lamp columns that can take the weight of your chosen motifs, banding straps or optional FIX01 and a power source.

Q. What kind of power supply will the motifs require?
A. All our motifs run on 240 volts and the wattage range from 50watts up to 2000watts.

Q. What are refurbished motifs?
A. Our refurbished motifs are pole-mounts or transverse motifs that have previously been used elsewhere and have been completely refurbished by Blachere UK for resale at half the listed price.

Q. How long does it take to manufacture a bespoke motif?
A. It can take 6 to 8 weeks for our team to professionally manufacture your bespoke motif and then you will need to allow 10 working days for delivery.

Q. How long until I will receive my order from the catalogue?
A. If your order is in stock it will take 5 working days but if your goods have to be ordered in it will take up to 10 working days.

Q. Why should I choose LED?
A. LED (light emitting diodes) offers an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional bulbs as they last 10 times longer and use significantly less power.
