Inspired by the iconic locations in Fitzrovia, we designed a rich and immersive scheme which reflected both the renowned retail environment of Tottenham Court Road and the dining experiences associated with Charlotte and Goodge Street.
From this brief, we discussed each possible design solution to achieve the incorporation of both retail environments and evening/dining experiences. After extensive Research and Design, we finalised and refined our scheme design to encompass swirling, sparkling champagne motifs to reflect the elegant evening/dining scene, paired with festive household lamp shades to compliment Tottenham Court Road. Our aim was to design an interactive scheme for the public to enjoy; something different to what had been displayed in the past. Creating a WOW factor, talking point and a successful social media hit, we designed a giant 'walk through' illuminated bauble. This had people interacting and taking pictures with it before it has even been turned on! After the switch-on, queues were forming day and night to have their photo taken - an amazing marketing edge, Fitzrovia had not had in previous years. This year, we have added a giant 10m slim cone tree, dazzled with lights and dressed with elegant baubles - a display that could be seen from miles around.

Not only did they deliver a stunning, bespoke lighting display, tailored to our areas requirements and making it totally unique to Fitzrovia, they were also responsive, professional and a pleasure to work with. They even went the extra mile and donated huge Mickey and Minnie Mouse characters to the Children’s Ward in UCLH as part of their CSR programme.
