A Private Commission for two themed double beds; numerous concept designs were presented and chosen by the clients’ children, which were then produced; literally turning their dream into reality. Increasingly our commercial work is recognised and courted by the private sector. In this instance, we were commissioned to design and build two full size themed double beds for a family’s two young Children. We approached the open brief by submitting a variety of themes that the children may enjoy, from sci-fi to the more traditional. Once a concept drawing was approved we began the task of literally turning a dream into reality. We incorporated sensory activated sound tracks, lighting effects and special features. The end result was a tailor-made work of Art, big enough to fill a child's imagination, but of a scale that could be dismantled to fit through a domestic door frame. We believe that these beds are the finest of their kind in the World.
